Size Guide
Use these guidelines to help select pieces that are proportional to your room and comfortable for everyday use.
Seating and living
Allow at least 40–50 cm between sofas, coffee tables, and armchairs for comfortable circulation.
Coffee tables typically work best at two-thirds the length of your sofa.
Dining and tables
Plan approximately 60 cm of width per person at a dining table for comfortable seating.
Leave at least 90 cm between the table edge and walls or other furniture to allow chairs to move easily.
Lighting
Pendant lights above tables are often hung 75–90 cm above the tabletop, depending on ceiling height.
For living rooms, layer ambient ceiling light with floor and table lamps to avoid harsh shadows.
